Appointment for the same day

The Royal Hospital offers the possibility of taking an appointment on the same day. Depending on the level of care the patient needs and the time of the call, the doctor will see you on the same day.

If you call 01028782888 before noon, we will set an appointment for the same day and if you call after noon, the appointment will be set for the next day.

What happens when I call to request an appointment on the same day?

You can expect the following:

We will ask for basic personal information, such as your address, telephone number, and insurance company.
In the second stage, we will ask you a set of questions related to your symptoms, in order to help you determine the appropriate doctor for your treatment. In most cases, we can schedule an appointment for you based on this information.
If you have a specific or complex medical condition, your call will be transferred to a nurse. This will ensure that the attending physician will have a comprehensive medical record on you, along with the information necessary to provide the best care you need.

The priority is to ensure that people who urgently need to see a doctor are given an appointment right away.

It is likely that you will be scheduled for a second appointment, in case you need an annual health check or if you need specialized but non-emergency care.
